MAPA
The Malawi Alcohol Policy Alliance (MAPA) is a national civil society alliance comprising member organizations working collectively to promote effective implementation of Malawi's National Alcohol Policy and strengthen action to prevent and reduce alcohol-related harm in Malawi.
Who We Are
Malawi Alcohol Policy Alliance herein referred to as MAPA is a registered National Networking organization comprised of registered CSOs in the country. MAPA that provides a platform through which civil society organizations coordinate their efforts, engage Government and other stakeholders, generate and share evidence, advocate for effective alcohol policies, promote public awareness, and monitor progress in the implementation of the National Alcohol Policy.
Mapa was founded and established by Drug Fight Malawi leadership to provide a coordinated platform through which civil society organizations can contribute to these efforts. The Alliance seeks to strengthen collective action, promote evidence-informed policy dialogue and support effective implementation of the National Alcohol Policy.
